CC vs Fran: Spring 2011

Spring 2011 was a showdown between CC (minimalist, modern) vs. Fran (neon, lady silhouettes). I think Celine vs. Proenza is a good place to start. Are you going to be a CC or are you going to be a Fran for Spring 2011? I'm leaning towards Fran, myself.

fan videos part 2

I love searching for fan videos on youtube. My absolute favorite one is this Macgyver video that's just amazingly amazingly well done.
ANYWAYS, I found this Nanny fan video that's a good outfit montage for Nanny fans and/or fans of 90s fashion such as moi. It's convinced me that I think I need some sort of animal print jacket this fall, like the irridescent tiger (I think?) striped jacket at 2:13.

Guess What! (part 2)

SOOOooooo. I finally got the update from Kat's Fran Drescher encounter at Eataly. Fran not only knows about my blog, BUT SHE'S SEEN IT TOO. She also gave Kat an update, telling her that a new project is in the works (aiiii!!!) AND she's teaming back up with her Nanny wardrobe stylist (brenda cooper, me thinks?) for said project. It's like the universe is aligning to give me the best birthday present ever?

Anyways, Kat said that she looked stunning in person. Of course. See photo below! btw, no one does a side bun quite like Kat. Truly great.



P.S. Apparently on her way to Eataly or inside Eataly (I can't remember! I was too excited!), she (Kat, not Fran) also encountered a Mr. Aaron Neville.
