The Nanny would have been ALL about London fashion week this Spring 2011. I think of Fran as the original Anna Dello Russo. I know the hem lengths are a bit long and loose for Ms. Fine but I think she would have really flipped for the neon lace. I bet Fran Fine would be crazy about Christopher Kane, maybe except for the loose ruffly snakeskin chiffon collection (my personal fave, though.)

I've been wanting to do a Christopher Kane for Topshop post but decided against it so many times because I knew the images would not turn out well (the model has very long hair and her skin tone is quite pale.) I finally bit the bullet because what kind of blogger would I be if I DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THE OBVIOUS? You know Fran Fine would love this collection, fluorescents, bodysuits, mesh, tight silhouettes, short hemlines, and tiny mirrors and eyelets for maximum shine and glitz. (Also, I feel like Fran Fine would be all about the no pants craze.)
